Draw Brawl

How to play

1. Pick a character. Max is a sturdy close-range brawler with a paint roller, Ruby is fast with rapid paint shots, and Leo is a tank with a cardboard-tube cannon and a box shield.
2. Collect the gold stars scattered around the yard. There are plenty in the middle. You can carry up to 15.
3. Carry them back to your own fort and stand inside its ring for a moment to bank them. Only banked stars count, and other players' forts won't take yours.
4. Bop rivals to splat them: they drop everything they were carrying and jump back in a few seconds later.
5. Get really close to a rival and a Showdown ring locks you both in for a few seconds. Splat them before the timer runs out to win bonus stars.
6. Watch for the sprinkler warning: water soaks the marked outer lanes and slows anyone running through it. Castles stay dry.
7. Highest banked score when the 2-minute timer ends wins. Ties are shared.

Controls

• Computer: WASD or the arrow keys move. J attacks and auto-aims at the nearest rival; hold the mouse button to aim shots yourself. Space dashes, Q uses your special, Esc pauses.
• Phone or tablet: drag the left side of the screen to move. ATTACK auto-aims, or drag the AIM pad to point your shots where you want them. SPECIAL and DASH are next to it.
• The pause button freezes the match. The speaker button turns sound effects on; they start muted.

Tips

• Bank often. Stars you're carrying are worth nothing until they're home, and a splat spills them all.
• Fight rivals who are carrying a lot and let the ones with empty hands go.
• Head for your fort when the sprinkler warning appears so you're not stuck in the spray.
• Leo's box shield blocks every hit for a moment: pop it when two rivals close in.
• Showdown wins pay 3 bonus stars, so pick fights when your health is high.
