Even Sketch
A calm little logic puzzle drawn on a sheet of graph paper. Tap a square to draw a smiling orange star, tap again for a blue circle. Every row and column needs as many stars as circles, you can never have three of the same side by side, and the little = and × badges between squares tell you which pairs match and which are opposite. Each puzzle has exactly one answer, so careful thinking always wins. Finish the page before the bell timer fills up and the next sheet is waiting.

How to play
- Tap a graph-paper square to draw a star, tap it again for a circle, and once more to erase it. Shaded squares with a pencil mark are already filled in and can't be changed.
- Every row and every column must have the same number of stars and circles.
- Never put more than two of the same doodle next to each other, across or down.
- An = badge between two squares means they match. A × badge means one is a star and the other is a circle.
- Break a rule and the squares turn pink and wiggle so you can spot it. Fill the whole grid correctly to solve the page.
- Each level scores points for solving, 5 points for every second left before the bell and a bonus for not using a hint. If the bell bar fills up first, the game is over.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: tap a square to cycle star, circle and empty.
- Computer: click a square to cycle star, circle and empty.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move, Space or Enter cycles, 1 draws a star, 2 a circle and 0 erases. U undoes and H gives a hint.
- Undo takes back your last move, Hint reveals one correct square for 10 seconds off the bell timer, and Erase clears the sheet.
- The speaker button turns sound on or off.
Tips
- Look for two of the same side by side. The squares on both ends must be the other doodle.
- A gap between two matching doodles, like star, empty, star, has to be a circle.
- Once a row has its full half of stars, every empty square left in it is a circle.
- Follow the signs: once one square next to an = or × is known, its partner is too.
About Even Sketch
Even Sketch is a balancing logic puzzle. You fill a grid with stars and circles so that each row and column holds the same number of both, no three of a kind ever line up, and every = and × sign between squares is respected. Every puzzle is freshly made and checked to have exactly one solution.
The first levels are small 4×4 sheets with plenty of doodles already pencilled in. Then the grid grows to 6×6, the helpful shaded squares get fewer, more signs appear, and later pages alternate with big 8×8 sheets. A bell timer keeps gentle time pressure on, and your total score carries from page to page until the bell finally rings.
