Ink Jars
A calm pouring puzzle on a pencil-sketched desk. Glass ink jars sit on a sheet of paper, each one filled with mixed layers of colored ink. Tap a jar to lift it and tap another to pour. Ink only pours onto the same color or into an empty jar. Fill a jar with one color and it gets a cork with a happy sparkle. Every level is checked by a solver, so it can always be sorted.

How to play
- Tap a jar to lift it, then tap another jar to pour into it.
- Ink only pours onto the same color, or into an empty jar. The whole top color pours over, as much as fits.
- When a jar is full of one color, it gets a cork. Later levels have taller jars with five layers. Cork every color to finish the level.
- Each color has its own little doodle, like a star, heart or moon, so you can tell them apart.
- Levels start with 3 colors and grow to 12. Finish in fewer moves for a bigger bonus and three stars.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: tap a jar to lift it, then tap where to pour.
- Computer: click jars, or press 1 to 9 and 0 to pick a jar. The arrow keys and Enter work too.
- Undo (or the U key) takes back a pour, 5 times a level. + Jar (or the + key) adds one empty jar per level.
- Restart starts the level over. The speaker button turns sound on or off.
Tips
- Look for jars whose top color matches another jar's top before using an empty jar.
- Try to keep one jar empty for as long as you can. It gives you room to sort.
- Save + Jar for the big levels with lots of colors.
- Beat the par number of moves to earn three stars and the biggest move bonus.
About Ink Jars
Ink Jars is an ink-sorting puzzle. Jars on a sketchbook desk hold mixed layers of colored ink, and you pour from one into another until every jar holds a single color and earns its cork. Ink only pours onto a matching color or into an empty jar, so the empty jar is your most valuable piece.
Every level is checked by a solver before it reaches you, so there is always a way through. Each color has its own little doodle so they are easy to tell apart, and levels grow from three colors to twelve, with taller five-layer jars later on. Beat the par number of moves for three stars.
